An inquest into a “terrorism event” in which a couple in their 80s were fatally stabbed and the alleged killer shot dead by police on the Logan Motorway has been set down for next month.

Double-murderer pleads guilty, eligible for parole next year

A double murderer who raped and killed a Gold Coast woman snatched from a shopping centre almost 40 years ago will be eligible for parole in 2022.
