Slip on a slurry of sequins and partake in the disco fever phenomenon once again because powerhouse figure of disco, Cerrone, is making his way to Brisbane for a one-night-only performance.

Cerrone by Cerrone’s highly anticipated arrival at the Brisbane Powerhouse on Friday June 2 will showcase why he has donned the godfather-of-disco crown since his rise to fame in the 1970s. With songs sampled by estimable industry figures such as Paul McCartney, Daft Punk, Run DMC and Bob Sinclair, it’s no surprise that his contribution to the industry has been unparalleled. Five decades on, Cerrone has transfixed a new legion of young fans and remains at a high level of prominence in the disco arena, playing DJ sets at some of the biggest festivals in the world such as the Brixton Disco Festival in London and the Sonar Festival in Barcelona.
