Baby one more time: new child for Britney
Five months after a US court ended a 13-year conservatorship over her life, pop star Britney Spears has announced she is expecting her third child.

Spears, 40, revealed she and fiance Sam Asghari, 28, are expecting their first baby together in an Instagram post.
The singer – famous for hits including Oops I Did It Again and Baby One More Time – described how she noticed changes in her stomach that at first she dismissed as weight gain.
“So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby,” she wrote.
The pop star also recounted how she suffered depression during a previous pregnancy and how she now feels women can more openly discuss their mental health while pregnant.
“This time I will be doing yoga every day !!! Spreading lots of joy and love!!!” she posted.
In June 2021, Spears complained during a court hearing that she was being prevented from marrying or having more children.
In November, a judge ended the 13-year conservatorship arrangement that had allowed her father, Jamie Spears, to control her personal life and $US60 million ($A81 million) estate.
Spears has two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and 15-year-old Jayden James, from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline.
