The 61-year-old’s body was found inside her house at Crows Nest, north of Toowoomba, on January 31.

Her cause of death is unknown, but is being treated as murder by police.

Detectives have found a metal bar near Ms Chopra’s home on Park Rd and have released images of it.

“Police cannot confirm at this stage whether the bar is connected to the death of Krishna,” they said in a statement on Tuesday.

They said the bar had been shortened to 47 centimetres in length which suggests it had been modified for a particular purpose.

Detectives last week released a CCTV video of Ms Chopra shopping at Bunnings hardware store on Ruthven Rd, Toowoomba, which they say is the last time she was seen alive, on January 20.

The video, recorded 11 days before her body was found, shows the 61-year-old dressed in a white tunic-style shirt, black pants, a patterned purple and white scarf with sunglasses and a black face mask.

Chopra is seen being refunded for what appears to be a can of paint at the front counter before she’s seen a short time later at the self-service checkout buying what appears to be a bottle of weed killer.

Detectives have called for anyone who had regular contract with Chopra or has recently seen either of her two cars to come forward.

They are tracing her movements between January 20 and 22 and want to speak to anyone who was on her street on January 21.
