Police say the 34-year-old man parked his car and got into a green Holden sedan where two other people were waiting outside the Spring Hill store about 2am on Monday.

The man was then shot, but he was able to get out and was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he underwent surgery for non-life threatening injuries.

A Green Holden sedan was later found burnt out on Nudgee Beach Rd, Nudgee Beach, about 4am.

“The vehicle was destroyed and investigations indicate it may have been involved in the incident at Spring Hill,” police said.

Anyone with information, dash cam camera or CCTV footage have been urged to contact police.
