AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:

* There have been 39,294,041 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Wednesday, including 92,188 in the previous 24 hours.

* Of the total, 23,352,782 have been administered by the Commonwealth, an increase of 66,009 in the previous 24 hours.

* 15,941,259 have been administered by the states and territories, including 26,179 in the previous 24 hours.

* 92.5 per cent of people 16 and over in Australia have received at least their first dose and 87.2 per cent are double-dosed.

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Australia reported 1438 local cases: 1179 in Victoria, 251 in NSW, four in the ACT, two in South Australia, and one each in Queensland and the Northern Territory.

* There were also four overseas-acquired cases: two in the NT, and one each in SA and Queensland.

* The national death toll is 2011: Victoria 1336 (+6), NSW 630, ACT 14, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7 and SA 4. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 262,797,000.

* Deaths: at least 5,215,000.

* Vaccine doses administered: at least 7,992,851,000.
