Police said a 35-year-old man’s body was found at the Cairns Central shopping centre on McLeod St, Cairns on Wednesday morning.

A person has been arrested and detectives are determining the circumstances of the man’s death.

Police have blocked off parts of the shopping centre and asked people to avoid the area bounded by Bunda, Spence, McLeod and Aplin streets.
