Homicide investigation launched after woman’s body found

The death of a 53-year-old woman who was found collapsed in a suburban Brisbane home on the weekend is now being investigated by Queensland Police.

Emergency services were called when the 53-year-old woman was discovered at inside a property on Muller Rd, Taigum, about 16km north of Brisbane’s CBD, on Saturday afternoon.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, with the circumstances now being investigated.

Homicide detectives have reportedly established a crime scene and SES crews are searching nearby bushland with metal detectors.
