Brisbane City Council is set to consider the application to build two 24 level towers on the site after already approving a development with less height but more buildings on the same block of land in 2017.

Developers of the proposed complex, Manly Properties, plan to include a new 4000 square metre public park open space offering a direct pedestrian or cycle connection from Vulture St to the Brisbane River.

The complex would consist of two 6 green star-rated, 24-level buildings with roof terraces and a five-level basement carpark.

The north tower would contain 200 apartments, while the other tower would include 270 apartments. Retails and cafes would occupy the ground levels of the buildings.

Developers estimate the project would create 365 jobs.

The site is currently home to the Queensland Building and Construction Commission and a recycling centre.
