Immanuel Gardens in Buderim closed the residential area known as The Terrace on Monday as it conducted tests on four residents with respiratory symptoms.

The Lutheran Services facility reported three tests had returned negative for the virus while results for a fourth person were pending.

“The Terrace remains closed to visitors while results are pending,” a spokesperson said in a statement on Tuesday.

The affected residents remain in isolation and will be closely monitored.

“We will remain in close contact with family members of the residents throughout this time,” the centre said.

Sections of the aged care home known as The Vista remain open.
