Academy of St Martin in the Fields with Joshua Bell, QPAC
Classical music lovers were treated to the first of two performances from one the world’s finest chamber orchestras, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, led by the incomparable Joshua Bell.
With over 500 releases in a much-praised discography and a comprehensive international touring schedule, the name and sound of the Academy is known throughout the world. QPAC audiences were treated to a program of music from composers such as Prokofiev, Bach, Saint-Saëns and Mendelssohn and thanked the orchestra with a standing ovation lasting minutes.
