The Queensland Symphony Orchestra performed Enigma on Saturday, 10 April, as part of their Maestro series conducted by Principal Conductor Johannes Fritzsch.

Based on English composer Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations, a set of variations on one melody, with each one representing a different friend of the composer.

Audiences also enjoyed the QPAC organ, played by soloist Joseph Nolan, playing Poulenc’s mighty Concerto.
