Did anything good come out of 2021?

My 2021 was pretty quiet until December when I found that I would be co-hosting Drive on Triple M with Ben Dobbin and Liam Flanagan for 2022. I’m so excited! This is a dream come true for me.

What’s your favourite summer memory?

My favourite summer memory would be getting a real tree for Christmas. I’m not sure where my Dad got them from but they were always amazing. I will never forget the smell.

Are you a summer or a winter person?

Winter! All the way. The colder the better. I struggle so much especially for someone who was born in the Northern Territory and grew up in Queensland. I feel like I should have been a winter Olympian.

How do you stay resilient during periods of change, like the year just gone?

The best way to be resilient is to go with the flow. Realising that you cannot control most of the things that are happening around you so don’t fight it. There were so many things that happened this year that were so out of my control. If I worried about all of them, I would be in a ball of tears on the floor.

Who were your heroes of 2021?

The true heroes this year has to be all the doctors, nurses, epidemiologists, covid testers etc. Those people have worked themselves to the bone this year and for little reward. They deserve a huge thank you for looking after us this year, whilst most of them are dealing with their own issues.

What’s your secret ambition?

My secret ambitions is to get myself in the best shape possible for 2022. My health has been suffering for a few years now and I aim to get on top of them and be the best version of myself.

What’s your favourite holiday spot?

The Cook Islands are fantastic! The people are delightful and the food is some of the best you will find. I dream about their ika mata.

What are you hoping for in 2022?

I am hoping for a hugely successful drive show and to enjoy the ride. I’m also looking forward to being one step closer to completing my psychology degree.

What have you been watching on television/streaming services lately?

Selling Sunset. Who hasn’t? I’m mad for it. My favourite is Heather.

Any people or businesses to watch in 2022?

Buy From The Bush. It’s one of my favourite initiatives and we have some insanely talented people who live IN the country, in this country.
