When one is tasked with hosting a dinner party, a lot of blood, sweat and tears often goes into the organisational process. Now you can forego the stress usually associated with these epicurean events. Some of Australia’s top chefs have used their culinary prowess to create mouth-watering menus for FIX., a sophisticated at-home dining experience that’s set to take your culinary soiree to the next level. Time-saving and certifiably decadent, the FIX. Chef Dining Experiences are chef-curated meals that are created using top-notch Aussie produce, delivered refrigerated and ready to be finished at home. The current roster of culinary masterminds that have menus you can order from include acclaimed chefs Lennox HastieAnaliese GregoryPeter Gilmore and Paul Carmichael, with the FIX. kitchen being run by head chef Brian Murray (formerly of Sydney restaurant’s Quay and Bennelong).

Pricing for these multi-course dining experiences range from $200 for Paul’s vegetarian feast through to $220 for Peter, Analiese’s and Lennox’s three-course experiences, with all menus able to generously feed two diners. Delicious dishes include handmade burrata with piquillo peppers and black olive, seared Abrolhos Island scallops with roasted XO eggplant, eschallots, peanuts and sesame, buttery potato rotis, and seasonal fruit baked clafoutis with creme fraiche and Tasmanian honey. Each experience includes handy how-to videos from the chefs with succinct explainers on components of dishes, a meet-the-producer video so you can learn a bit more about the produce used in your experience, and a playlist to jive to while you’re putting the finishing touches on your meal.

When we’re looking for a quick fix for dinner but feel like treating ourselves and our loved ones, we usually consult our virtual Rolodex of food delivery apps. So it’s pretty nifty that FIX. is also doling out a five-strong bundle of flavoursome frozen fare that includes the likes of Analiese’s mapo tofu, Lennox’s mum’s moussaka, Peter’s crispy duck red curry, Brian’s Guinness stew with potato dumplings, and Paul’s pumpkin and chickpea curry. Plus, ready-to-plate meals aren’t the only thing the FIX. team is dishing up. The FIX. Store stocks a range of the chef’s go-to products and creations like Lennox’s smoked butter, Analiese’s truffle honey, Paul’s pikliz, and Peter’s crumpets, as well as selection of sustainable and locally made products. Feeling a little thirsty? There are drinks pairings for each of the Chef Dining Experience menus from Fink wine director Amanda Yallop, and cocktails made in collaboration with Sydney cocktail bar PS40 available in the FIX. Store. Soon the service will offer produce boxes from the STIX Farm, and renowned chef Palisa Anderson is set to make an appearance on the platform later this year.
