From the moment the ground broke in 2014, the magnificent $1.4 billion Jewel project in Surfers Paradise has captivated the city’s collective attention. At long last, we’re set to get our first glimpse inside the hallmark development with the tallest of the three eye-catching towers home to the Gold Coast’s newest resort hotel, The Langham, Gold Coast, which is set to welcome guests from June 23. The superlative 339-room hotel, which also includes Jewel Residences, managed by Langham, will herald a luxurious new era for the Gold Coast as the first development with direct beach access to be built in the city in more than 30 years.

Since opening its now-iconic London outpost in 1865, The Langham has built an unmatched global reputation for sophistication, elegance and a bespoke five-star hotel experience. The group’s latest expansion phase has brought the The Langham to the Gold Coast, with a brand-new beachfront hotel offering that is set to form the beating heart of the Jewel development.

Boasting 17 different types of rooms and suites, The Langham, Gold Coast is offering an elevated take on accommodation, boasting a mix of breathtaking ocean and hinterland views, a host of modern amenities, a dreamy coastal palette and a bevy of signature dining experiences to enjoy.

No hotel is complete without a spectacular gastronomic offering, and friends, The Langham is set to impress. The hotel’s renowned opulence will extend into grandeur facilities including a swim-up pool bar and a range of enticing food and beverage venues that are set to open later this year. We’ll have all of the delicious details for you closer to opening, but we can tell you it will include Palm Court, which will be home to the famous Langham Afternoon Tea, brunch spot 26 & Sunny, all-day dining experience Akoya, and Coral Moon, an open-air destination bar shaking up innovative cocktails.

The jewel in the culinary crown will be T’ang Court, Langham’s signature Michelin-starred destination for fine Cantonese dining. When it comes to relaxation, The Langham will also up the ante with its esteemed Chuan Spa, a holistic wellness concept that embraces the centuries-old healing philosophies of traditional Chinese medicine fused with indulgent wellness treatments.

The Langham will add to Langham Hospitality Group’s already-thriving Australian portfolio, currently comprising of two luxury hotels in Sydney and Melbourne.
