Broadbeach’s Kurrawa Park will host 40 of Australia’s best brewers this September, including recent additions Brisbane’s BrewDog, FICK Brewing Company, Sea Legs Brewing, and Working Title Brew Co.

There will also be seltzers, ciders, boozey kombucha and big name brewers such as Balter, Black Hops, Colonial Brewing, Green Beacon, Moon Dog, Stone & Wood and Young Henrys.

This year will be the fifth iteration of the Festival coming off the back of a sell-out year in 2020.

A day-long celebration for beer enthusiasts, CRAFTED also provides a line-up of bands and DJs from around the country worthy of its own festival.

Tasmania’s homegrown heroes Luca Brasi will be headlining the festival, after having recently released their latest album in February, Everything is Tenuous which peaked at #7 in the ARIA Top 50 Albums Chart.

Alt-rockers from St Helens, Luca Brasi have been credited with amplifying Tassie music in the mainland with their relentless touring and energetic live shows.

Joining Luca Brasi will be Teenage Joans, an indie rock duo from Adelaide who won the Triple J Unearthed High competition in 2020 and released their debut EP Taste of Me in May.

Rolling coastal rockers Pacific Avenue have recently been added to the lineup, bringing a collaboration with Precinct Brewing Co. for their own ‘Pacific Avenue Ale’ so you can have a sip and a singalong to their set.

There will also be sets by self-described ‘merry band of funklords’ Electrik Lemonade, a Gold Coast eight-piece bringing a blend of funk, hiphop, and dance playing alongside slack-rockers Debbies.

The Flowers will bring their brand of happy-sad indie pop, witty lo-fi Gold Coast band Pure Milk will grace the stage, and records will be spun by Beatniks DJs throughout the day.

For those looking to invite a bit of athleticism into their lives there are also a range of activities to participate in such as Beer Yoga, a Beer Paddle Race and Cycho’s Hot Wing Eating Competition.

There will also be gourmet food trucks to choose from the likes of Church Mouse Cheese, Italian Pizzas, Little Greek Catering Co, Meat Buns, and Samba Catering Co.

CRAFTED Festival will be held on Saturday 11 September at Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach. For more information and ticketing, visit Crafted Festival’s website.
