Exec Appointments: CFOs shuffle at TechOne, CTM

Technology One, Corporate Travel Management and Collins Foods change their CFOs while the industry loses its chief and more.

TechOne loses CFO

Technology One has revealed that Paul Jobbins had resigned as chief financial officer after five years in the role.

He will be replaced by Cale Bennett from August 1.

Bennett was recently CFO for Corporate Travel Management.

Reshuffle at CTM

The departure of Cale Bennett has left an opening at CTM which will be filled on an interim basis by James Patterson who has been with the company for more than three years.

CTM has also said executive director Laura Ruffles would become chief executive of ANZ, Europe and Asia.

Kevin O’Malley would continue as CEO of North America.

Eleanor Noonan has been made global chief operating officer.

Collins fills the gap

Collins Foods Group has appointed Michael Dernier as acting group financial officer.

He moves into the role following the departure of Nigel Williams.

Sugar boss walks

After two years in the job, Rachele Sheard has resigned as chief executive of the Australian Sugar Million Council.

Sheard said she had decided that it was time for a change.

Eureka loses CEO

Gold Coast-based Eureka Group said its chief executive Cameron Taylor had resigned following a period of personal leave related to a non-work related accident.

He is resigning to spend time with his family

Executive chair Murray Boyte would continue in the role of acting CEO until a replacement was found.

Ryan’s QIC post

QIC has appointed Mary Ryan to the post of senior legal operations specialist.

Ryan had previously been legal operations specialist and senior legal counsel as well as a legal adviser to the real estate division.

Before joining QIC she was legal counsel for Quest Hotels.

QPM adds a GM

Queensland Pacific Metals has appointed Ben Visser as general manager of development and operations.

The company said Visser had extensive experience in asset and operating management across the oil, gas, mining and petrochemical industries.

Casino’s new boss

Reef Casino Services, which is the responsible entity for the Reef Casino Trust which holds the licence for the Cairns casino, has appointed Bradley Sheahon as chief executive.

The appointment still needs the approval of the Office of Liquor and Gaming but he is expected to take over the role on August 1.

Executive director Allan Tan would support Sheahon.

Noosa adds to executive

Noosa Council has appointed Richard McGillivray as its director of regulatory services.

Regulatory Services is a newly established directorate at the council that looks to combine local laws, environmental health, plumbing and property under one leadership.

He will be part of the council’s executive leadership team and work alongside acting chief executive Larry Sengstock and four other directors.

He has 17 years of local government experience in statutory planning and sustainable development.
