Moreton steals CEO

Noosa Council has lost its chief executive Scott Waters.

Waters has taken up a CEO post with the nearby Moreton Council.

Noosa has appointed Larry Sengstock as acting CEO.

Austral loses Innes

Austral Resources said that the recent appointment of Jeffrey Innes as chair of Ok Tedi Mining meant he could no longer serve the company as a non-executive director.

Innes had helped take Austral from its IPO to its current steady production.

Bulley for RFG

Retail Food Group has appointed Michael Bulley as a non-executive director.

Bulley has a background in retail having started his first business, a doughnut shop, in 1989, and eventually opened six new stores under the Donut King brand, which is owned by RFG.

Bulley will stand for election at the 2023 AGM.

Orange Sky welcomes Lander

Charity Orange Sky has welcomed Keiron Lander as a non-executive director.

Lander has experience in preventative health and youth advocacy with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander outcomes.

McKenzie goes to Borumba

Civil engineer Leah McKenzie has been made project director at Borumba Pumped Hydro.

Previously she worked for the Department of Transport and Main Roads where she was deputy regional director.

EMVision advisory addition

EMVision has appointed Professor Alan Coulthard to its clinical advisory board.

Coulthard is a professor of Neuroradiology at the University of Queensland and a full time staff specialist in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Vardon gets Govt nod

Cheryl Vardon will lead a comprehensive independent review of the accreditation framework for non-state schools in Queensland.

Vardon was the first Queensland Family and Child Commissioner.

She will review legislation, which has been in place for five years, to ensure the powers of the Non State Schools Accreditation Board are fit-for-purpose.
